iOS asks to "Add VPN Configurations". Is that safe?
Yes. It's how iOS lets HUSH filter ads and trackers on your iPhone. The configuration runs only on your device; it isn't a VPN service and doesn't route your traffic through anyone's servers. Tap Allow, then confirm with Face ID or your passcode.
A website isn't working properly.
Allow it: in Safari, tap the page menu → HUSH → Allow this site, or in any browser tap Share → Allow on HUSH. You can manage allowed sites in HUSH → Settings.
A YouTube video won't play.
Turn off YouTube ads in HUSH. Everything else stays protected.
How do I turn on HUSH in Safari?
In Safari, tap the page menu beside the address bar → Manage Extensions → turn on HUSH → tap HUSH → Always Allow on Every Website.
I hid something by mistake.
HUSH → Settings → Hidden elements → choose the site → swipe to remove the rule, or reset the site.
How do I restore my purchase on a new iPhone?
Open HUSH and tap Restore on the welcome screen, or go to Settings → Restore purchases.
How do I cancel my subscription?
iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → HUSH → Cancel Subscription.
How do I turn HUSH off?
Tap the switch in HUSH. To remove it completely, delete the app; its VPN configuration is removed with it.
